Customised Lead Generation Funnels

It's Dan Wardrope here from Flexxable and today I wanna talk to you about the correlation between aesthetics and how it's so important when you're designing your lead gen funnels.

So let's say you're spending $10,000 a month on a funnel and those leads, this is a funnel that paid traffic is being pointed to.

You're spending $10,000 a month on paid ads.

They're pointing to this funnel, which is generating leads and as a rule of thumb, you're looking at a 5% click-to-lead ratio.

Which means for $10,000 worth of spend, you are generating 500 leads.

This is about 20 bucks a lead. Something like that, right?

So the difference between getting the cost down to $15 per lead and keeping it at 20 could be a significant amount of money for you or extra money in your money each month.

A $5 saving.

So when I'm teaching my students, they're always interested in bringing that cost down and saving that $5.

This is important because it fattens the wallet, it makes more money for the agency that's delivering the leads.

But a lot of times, and we've made this mistake in our own agency as well is that we don't focus enough on the aesthetics.

So the questions in the funnel, the surveys, the headline, the copy, all of that is very important.

We forget that some people are skeptical these days.

They are hitting lead gen funnels and if there's not a really good understanding and no trust factor in these funnels, i.e. the way that the graphics pop.

The way that there's segmentation between each of the different parts of the funnel or the different sections of the funnel.

If there's not beautiful-looking font and colors that match and all of this stuff that I'm hopeless at, then they will leave your funnel.

A lot of graphic designers and people with a good eye for detail are good at this kind of stuff.

These things can make a huge difference as well as everything else that I've spoken about before.

The copy and the segmentation and the survey funnels and the hooks and all that type of stuff.

I'm rambling a little bit but my point is that if you're running traffic to funnels and spending that type of money, you need to invest in a UX person.

A person that is able to make sure that the pages just pop and they're very trustworthy.

There are always going to be people that are skeptical.

They're gonna come through your funnel and see funny font everywhere that doesn't match up and isn't spaced properly.

They're gonna go well, this is just rubbish. This isn't a trustworthy funnel.

So please do take the time if you're generating volume and you're spending a lot on paid traffic to invest in a UX person to make these pages pop.

It's a no brainer, okay?
