In today’s video, I talk a little bit about how we as a company go about reverse-engineering the market.

Just over a year ago my team and I decided to create what we call an ‘epic post’ explaining in fine detail how to reverse-engineer the market.

We looked into what people were running and the tools and tactics they use; the whole repertoire really.

Looking at what your competitors are doing is absolutely crucial in order to understand the market. I’m not a fan of copycats though, so you have to come up with your own ideas and add your own flair.

Hey, everyone. Dan Wardrope here at Flexxable.

I wanted to talk to you today about reverse engineering competitors. It was probably about a year ago, we decided as a team to do what we class as like an epic blog post on our blog about how to reverse engineer the market.

And we actually went into the roofing market. We had a look over in the States at what people were running and went through our complete reverse engineering package.

The whole repertoire of what we'd start with, what tools we use, the ninja tactics we used to find out what ads people were running.

Have a look at their funnels. What to do with their funnels. How to reverse engineer the funnels.

The whole lot, which is a really, really amazing way to be able to kick off a campaign with at least a very good chance.

I'm not a fan of people that just rip off people completely and do exactly what they're doing.

You have to add your own flavor.

We usually like to say that we'll look at what people are doing and then make it better with our knowledge and our skills and our experience over the years.

But I thought it would be a very good share because I might not have told you good people about it before. There'll be a link below this video, it's only a short video today.
