Hi everyone!
In today’s video, I’ll be talking about YouTube and custom intent audiences.
What Is A Custom Intent Audience?
Basically, a custom intent audience allows you to target users based on their Google searches.
Every time someone searches for something on Google, they’re using something called “keywords” (though they may not know it). For example, if someone was going to Paris for vacation, and wanted to hire a car, they may type “car hire Paris”.
If they took a quick look at the first page of Google and didn’t see what they were looking for, they’d add another keyword. For example, “cheap car hire Paris”.
And so on.
Custom intent audiences give YouTube advertisers the opportunity to target a range of keywords that are related to their product or service. Think of it like adding certain keywords to your ad copy, but doing the equivalent via video.
Custom intent audiences allow you to make much more tailored content than in the old days of YouTube advertising. While old YouTube ads relied on building a brand and becoming known to audiences through sheer repetition, custom intent targeting can put a specific offer in front of the right people.
Sounds like a no-brainer, right?
