I'm here in Rhodes in Greece.

You can see down there,  the crystal clear water and a little restaurant behind us, it's amazing out here.

I hate to rub it in but it's been a long time coming.

So I've been doing a little bit of thinking whilst away.

I wanted to talk to you guys about the two different ways you can sell to your clients, depending on the situation you're in.

Whether you're a complete newbie, you're starting out in the pay-per-lead game versus someone that has their offer dialed in.

I'm gonna teach you how to blow your sales up either up, all right?

Okay, so, all right, there's two different ways to sell to clients in the pay-per-lead industry.

The first one is for people who are newbies and they haven't had any experience in pay per lead and they're entering a new vertical or they've had experience in another vertical and they're moving to a new vertical.

The first thing you should do is never risk your own money in this situation.

You need to be able to position yourself as an expert from somewhere else in a different field or in a different industry. You're moving to a new industry and you wanna work with a handful of clients to be able to grandfather them in on a deal, which is gonna be extremely beneficial for them as you help them grow, as you help them grow as a business.

Try and get them to pay for the ad spend and you want to say that you'll do everything for free until you make a sale and at that point, and only at that point, will we make a commission.

Obviously, not everyone's gonna buy that, not everyone's gonna do that but they are going to be some clients and some businesses out there that can see that you're an authentic person that wants to help build a relationship and help grow their business.

They will buy into you, rather than the offer.

That's why you have to be open and transparent and really try to help the business put the business first.

It's not about you at this point in time. And what happens is if they buy into this type of offer and they're good to go, then what you can do is learn on their dime.

I know it's a little bit cheeky but you are actually helping them but it means that when you're running ads and you are not getting any leads in and you've spent a few hundred bucks, you're not freaking out because it's not your money.

A lot of these businesses have very deep pockets. So a few hundred bucks is nothing to them.

They're willing to risk that because they wanna grow, they need a new solution. And if you can figure out over time how to get the cost per lead down and the quality up and the volume up and all that type of stuff, then you're, at that point, onto a real winner when you can start to scale your agency. And that means reaching out to different people and landing different clients in that space.

Then you can approach the client and move them to a pay-per-lead offer and you can also go out to the market in that same vertical and start approaching other clients.

This is where it gets really exciting because once you know about volumes, about quality, about your cost per lead, you can really start to ramp your agency up. And the way that we do this at the moment is that we reach out to clients in our ads, in our direct mail in our sales communication, in our conversations, in our referral network.

We say to these people listen, okay, we know that you're gonna get a return on these leads, which means that we're able to offer you a guarantee.

If you don't get a return from the initial 100 leads, 200 leads or whatever it is you order from us, we will continue to deliver leads until you at least breakeven, which takes away any risk whatsoever.

The way that you transact with them.

If you can do that, then the world's gonna be your oyster because the biggest objection with any kind of client coming onboard with any agency like us,

Whether it be pay per lead or retainer or whatever is them looking stupid for making a decision where they started with working with an agency and they got ripped off and they lost all of their money and if you are able to guarantee that offer to them like I've just explained, then you are gonna absolutely fill your agency with more clients than you know what to do with.

So it's very simple but if you can figure it out and work with clients in the way that I've just described, then you are absolutely going to grow beyond belief.
